The Happiness of Your Life Depends Upon the Quality of Your Thoughts
As I’m sitting here writing, my thoughts always go to what it is I can share with you, to help empower, inspire and motivate you in your own life to reach new levels.
Sometimes, life is just bliss. Other times, it’s completely chaotic. There’s no telling what will happen day after day, month, or even year. We’re living in a world that is completely unpredictable, and that can be both a beautiful thing, and discouraging at the same time.
I think we’ve all, at one point or another, sat down and simply thought to ourselves, what’s the meaning of life? Why are we here? Why does everything that exists, exist?
You could drive yourself crazy thinking about this, because the truth is, who knows?
The answer: absolutely no one.
But that’s okay. You see, if we were meant to know the answer to these questions, we would. Our job is different. We need to create lives for ourselves, during our finite time on Earth, that will make us feel fulfilled — like we truly did ourselves, and the human race, proud for what it is we’ve become.
Whether your calling is to become a doctor, NFL athlete, or professional competitive eater, you owe it to yourself to become who you want to be.
My advice to you is, don’t overthink it.
We have a tendency to overcomplicate things. It’s in our nature. But I want you to focus on the end-goal, and try not to let life’s speed bumps get in the way of your happiness.
I have to remind myself this sometimes, but I promise you that you’ll thank yourself the more you get into the habit. Practice letting go of the stress that life will bring, be thankful for where you are, and the opportunities you’re given every day to become better than you were yesterday.
These were my thoughts for this week. I hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them for you. Keep these things in mind, and I’ll talk to you next week!
